(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 5 includes San Joaquin County and the northeast part of Alameda County. It has been represented by Jerry McNerney, D-Stockton since 2024. He previously represented California’s 9th Congressional District from 2007 to 2023.)
Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13: “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread…” (NKJV).

(Editor’s Note: CA 45-year-old Congressman Derek Tran, 45th District, includes Orange and Los Angeles County and represents a district that is one-third Asian, mostly Vietnamese. Tran is the son of Vietnamese refugees, is an attorney, and was first elected in 2024.)

(Editor’s Note: Georgia Congressman Rich McCormick, R-6, is 57-years-old, first elected in 2022 to serve in the 6th District and since 2024 has been serving in the 7th District. He served in the US Marine Corps and US Navy for 20 years and was deployed in Africa, South Korea, Afghanistan, and the Persian Gulf. McCormick is an emergency physician and an advocate for life. Georgia Congressman Austin Scott, R-7, is 56-years-old, first elected in 2010 and previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives serving in the 165 District from 1996 to 2002, elected at age 26, then in the 138 District from 2002 to 2004 then in the 153 District from 2004 to 2010. He is pro-life, for a balanced budget and opposes same-sex marriage and gun control laws.)
