Previously, he served from 2016 to 2024 as Berkeley Mayor, the 2nd youngest mayor elected in Berkeley and the first Latino. He served on the Berkeley City Council 4th District from 2004 to 2009. Arreguin is progressive and supports the environment and social justice.)

(Editor’s Note: Pennsylvania’s 56-year-old Democrat Senator John Fetterman was first elected in 2022. Previously, he was the 34th Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2022. He served as Mayor of Braddock, a steel town, from 2006 to 2019. He is a supporter of cannabis and before being elected to office worked in the insurance industry and also has been active in AmeriCorps. Pennsylvania’s 60-year-old Republican Senator Dave McCormick has served since 2024 and is one of only four senators with a doctorate degree and the only Republican. Previously, he was CEO of Bridgewater Associates, one of the world’s largest hedge funds from 2020 to 2022. He also worked under President George W. Bush. McCormick served in Iraq during the Gulf War with the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army.)
