(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 35 includes the South Bay and South Los Angeles is represented by 63-year-old California Democrat State Senator Laura Richardson, Long Beach, who was first elected in 2024 and previously served in the 37th Congressional District from 2007 to 2013.)
