(Editor’s Note: Placer County has a population of 433,822 and is 1,407 square miles and goes from Roseville, located in the Sacramento suburbs to Lake Tahoe at the Nevada state border. The county seat is Auburn.)

(Editor’s Note: California Assemblyman Mike Gipson, 59-years-old, was first elected in 2014 in District 64 serving South Bay, Los Angeles County until 2022 when the California Assemblyman’s District became the 65 district. Gipson is a member of the California Legislative Black Caucus and prior to being elected to state office was a Carson City Council member.)

He is Catholic and as a former coal lobbyist, is an advocate for coal mining and for American energy independence. Carey served in the Army National Guard Reserve from 1989 to 1999. Ohio has a Congressional delegation of 15 members: 10 Republicans and 5 Democrats.)
