Local (Community): Pray for citizen journalists in California Senate District 2.
(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 2 which extends from the Oregon border to North San Francisco Bay is represented by 46-year-old Democrat Mike McGuire, of Healdsburg, first elected in 2014 and majority leader from 2022 to 2024 and Senate pro-temp from 2024 to 2025. Previously, he was the youngest to serve on the Heraldsburg School Board, City Council and the youngest Mayor, and also served on the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors.)

Previously, she was on the Laguna Niguel City Council from 2012 to 2020 and was Mayor in 2016 and 2020. Prior to public service she was a wedding planner.)

(Editor’s Note: North Carolina Republican Congressman Brad Knott, is 39-years-old, first elected to Congress in 2025 and previously was a federal prosecutor and a U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He supports gun rights and is a Southern Baptist. North Carolina Congressman Tim Moore, is 55-years-old and has been in office since 2025. Previously, he was speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2025 and was first elected in 2002. When Moore was only 26, he was appointed to the University of North Carolina Board of Governors, the youngest person ever appointed. He is co-owner of a metal re-cycling business and is a Southern Baptist. The North Carolina Congressional delegation is made up of 14 members: 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats.)
