(Editor’s Note: CA Congresswoman Judy Chu, Los Angeles County, D-28, since 2022, is 72-years-old and has also served in California Congressional District 27 from 2012-2022, and District 32 from 2008 to 2012. Chu is the first Chinese American woman elected to Congress. She was elected to the California State Board of Equalization from 2007 to 2009 and previously was in the California State Assembly, District 49 from 2001 to 2006. Her first elected position was as a member of the Garvey School Board in Rosemead in 1985 followed by the Monterey Park City Council in 1988, becoming Mayor in 1989 until 1994. She taught psychology in the Los Angeles Community College District for 20 years, including 13 years at East Los Angeles College.)

Previously, he was Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture in 2011 and was a farmer before being elected to office. Kentucky Congressman Brett Guthrie, R-2, is 61-years-old, and is the Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Resources. Previously, he was elected to the Kentucky, 32nd Senate District, was in a manufacturing business after serving in the U.S. Army and later in the 101 Airborne Division. Kentucky’s Congressional delegation is 6 members: 5 Republicans and 1 Democrat.)
