Local (Community): Pray for citizen journalists in California Senate District 40.

(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 40 is represented by 57-year-old Republican Brian Jones, from Santee, Inland, and San Diego County, first elected in 2022.)

Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13: “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread…” (NKJV).

Prayer: “Father, raise up citizen journalists in California Senate District 40.”


County/State: Pray for California State Assemblyman Tri Ta (R-70), Westminster (Northern Orange County).

(Editor’s Note: CA 52-year-old State Assemblyman Tri Ta, first elected in 2022, was previously Mayor of Westminster, 2012-2022, the first Vietnamese American Mayor elected to the Westminster City Council.)

(Editor’s Note: North Carolina Congressman Don Davis, is 54-years-old, first elected to Congress in 2023 and is a Presbyterian lay minister. Previously, he was in the North Carolina Senate, 5th District, from 2013-2023. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and was also a college educator. North Carolina Congresswoman Deborah Ross, is 62-years-old, first elected to Congress in 2021. Ross served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2002 to 2013. She taught at Duke’s Law School and was a tax litigator and municipal bond lawyer and previously was former North Carolina State Director for the American Civil Liberties Union. The North Carolina Congressional delegation is made up of 14 members: 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats.)
