(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 6 includes western Placer County and the northern, eastern suburbs of Sacramento County. Senate District 6 is represented by 77-year-old Republican Roger Nielo, Fair Oaks, since 2022. He previously was a businessman operating auto dealerships.)

It is 12,489 square miles, the largest area represented by a Democrat in California. He was elected to the Santa Rosa City Council in 2016 and served as Mayor from 2020 to 2022.)

(Editor’s Note: Florida Republican Congressman Jimmy Patronis is 54-years-old and was first elected to Congress in 2025. He previously served as the fourth chief financial officer of Florida from 2017 to 2025. He was a member of the Florida Public Service Commission from 2015 to 2017, a member of the Florida House of Representatives, 6th District from 2006 to 2015; and he was a member of the Florida Elections Commission from 1998 to 2003. Patronis is Greek Orthodox and his family runs a seafood restaurant. Florida Republican Congressman Neal Dunn is 73-years-old, first elected to Congress in 2016, but is not seeking reelection in 2026. He is a medical doctor and served 11 years in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1990. He has founded two medical centers and was founding chairman of a bank. Dunn is a conservative that supports defunding the Department of Education. The Florida Congressional delegation has 20 Republicans and 8 Democrats.)
