(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 11 includes San Francisco and northern San Mateo County. The district is represented by 56-year-old Democrat Scott Wiener of San Francisco, a LGBTQ advocate who is running for the California Congressional District 11 seat of retiring Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi. Wiener is Jewish and previously served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors 8th District.)

(Editor’s Note: California 37-year-old Democrat Congressman Sara Jacobs of San Diego has represented the 51st Congressional District since 2023 and the 53rd District from 2021 to 2023. The district consists of central, eastern portions of San Diego. Jacobs is the youngest member of the California Congressional District and was the youngest representative in California when she took office. She is pro-abortion and an advocate for climate control and Medicare for All as well as a strong President Joe Biden supporter. She has a billionaire grandfather and is Jewish. From 2012 to 2014, she worked for the United Nations and has worked for the U.S. Department of State. The California Congressional delegation is 52 members: 42 Democrats, 7 Republicans, 1 Independent, and 2 vacant seats.)

(Editor’s Note: Maine’s 71-year-old Democrat Congresswoman Chellie Pingree, North Haven, was first elected 2008 to represent southern Maine. She is Vice Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and is the first Democrat woman elected to Congress from Maine. She was a member of the Maine Senate from 1992 to 2000 and serve as the Majority Leader from 1996 to 2000. Pingree is anti-war, pro-abortion, an author and former CEO. Maine’s 43-year-old Democrat Congressman Jared Golden, Lewiston, representing a district making up northern Maine, is co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition, and considers himself a progressive conservative and acts like an independent. He is pro-choice and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2002 to 2006 and was deployed in the war in Afghanistan and Iraq. Golden is not running for re-election in 2026).
