(Editor’s Note: California Senate District 13 includes the South Bay area of San Mateo County and western Santa Clara County. The District is represented by 57-year-old California State Senator John Becker, Menlo Park, who has served since 2020 and is Vice Chair of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus. He is a former nonprofit executive.)

She previously served in the 60th Assembly District from 2011 to 2012 and in the 64th Assembly District from 2013 to 2021. She is Greek Orthodox and the first Greek American elected to office in New York City. The New York Congressional delegation consists of 7 Republicans and 19 Democrats.)
