Prayer Focus:  Pray for citizen journalists in Colusa County; for California State Senator Aisha Wahab, D-10, an Afghan American, the first Muslim elected to the CA State Senate in 2022 (D-10, Hayward) and representing the cities of Fremont and Santa Clara; Wyoming Senator John Barrasso (R, Caspar) and Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-Cheyenne).

Election Countdown: 64 Weeks

Local (Community): Pray for citizen journalists in Colusa County.

(Editor’s Note: Colusa County has a population of 22,074 and is 1,151 square miles. Colusa is the county seat and is in the northern Sacramento Valley, northwest of the State Capitol.)

Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13: “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread…” (NKJV).

Prayer: “Father, raise up citizen journalists in Colusa County.”

County/State: Pray for California State Senator Aisha Wahab, D-10, an Afghan American, the first Muslim elected to the CA State Senate in 2022 (D-10, Hayward) and representing the cities of Fremont and Santa Clara; 

(Editor’s Note: California State Senator Aisha Wahab, D-10, Hayward, is an Afghan American, the first Muslim elected to the CA State Senate in 2022.  Her father was brutally murdered and her mother died at an early age).

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 6:35: “then hear from heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause” (NKJV).

Prayer: “Jesus, give your counsel to California State Senator Aisha Wahab.”

Nation/Nations: Pray For Wyoming Senator John Barrasso (R, Caspar) first elected in 2007; and Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-Cheyenne), first elected in 2021.

(Editor’s Note: Wyoming Senator John Barrasso has an orthopedic practice and is a 73-year-old Italian American Catholic; while Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis (R, Cheyenne), is a 70-year-old German Lutheran.)
