Prayer Focus:  Pray for citizen journalists in Mariposa County; California State Senator Henry Stern (D-27); and Alabama Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville and Alabama Republican Senator Katie Britt.

Local (Community): Pray for citizen journalists in Mariposa County.

(Editor’s Note: Mariposa County has a population of 17,048 and is 1,451 square miles. The county seat is Mariposa.)

Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13: “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread…” (NKJV).

Prayer: “Father, raise up citizen journalists in Mariposa County.”


County/State: Pray for California State Senator Henry Stern (D-27), Malibu.

(Editor’s Note: California State Senator Henry Stern, 43-years-old, was first elected in 2016 to represent Senate District 27, which includes Los Angeles and Ventura County and the Santa Clarita Valley. He has advocated for juvenile justice, clean energy projects and is an environmental attorney and law lecturer for both the University of California, Los Angeles and University of California Berkeley.  He is the first millennial elected to the California State Senate. Stern founded a tech incubator.)

He is a former champion football coach with over 100 wins with four different teams: Auburn, University of Mississippi, Texas Tech and the University of Cincinnati. He also was an ESPN analyst and intends to run for Alabama Governor in 2026. Alabama Senator Katie Britt, 43-years-old, first elected in 2022 is a Christian pro-life conservative and was the first woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate from Alabama and the youngest Republican woman in the U.S. Senate. She is a former attorney and CEO of the Business Council of Alabama.)
